ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's insights on the selection process of the Sunshine Style Young Readers Award Program (SSYRA) committee for the nominations lists. The author mentions that the recommendation titles given by the school librarians for the reading boxes is the start of the process. She adds that the recommendations are sent to all the committee members and readers in June and the shipping of it begins in August.
