ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the receipt of application received by the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) from 16 individuals requesting for exemption from the prohibition of persons with insulin-treated diabetes mellitus (ITDM) from operating commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in interstate commerce. The applicants for exemption include Kevin M. Donohue, Milton T. Gardiner, and Raymond A. Jack. Moreover, FCMSA requests for public comments on the exemption petitions.
