ABSTRACT
The article examines whether day treatment and residential schools are participating the assessment and accountability for student learning. It reveals that responding principals reported that 87% of students participated in state assessments. Moreover, it indicates that 76% said that assessment accommodations were used for students with emotional and behavioral disorders and learning disabilities.
