ABSTRACT
The article reports on the enactment of the law Assembly Bill (A. B.) 408 which advances the American Coatings Association's (ACA) PaintCare programs for post-consumer architectural paint management in California, signed by California Governor Jerry Brown on October 8, 2011. It mentions that the law allows for the collection, transport, and recycling or disposal of paints outside of the state. It notes the implementation of the programs for a national approach to end-of-life paint management.
