ABSTRACT
The article considers personnel management of Crossrail, a subsidiary of the Transport for London transportation agency responsible for the construction of a new railroad in London, England. Valerie Todd, an executive of Crossrail, discusses the difficulties posed for personnel management for the company due to the large number of contractors and sub-contractors involved in the railroad's construction. Employee recruitment and training operations of Crossrail are considered.
