ABSTRACT
The article considers executives who manage a corporation's fleet of automobiles and commercial motor vehicles. The importance of cost control in managing company motor vehicles is discussed. The role of the company automobile as an employee fringe benefit valuable in the recruiting and retention of employees is considered. It is noted that fleet management is increasingly contracted out by companies.
