ABSTRACT
The article examines the impact on companies in Great Britain of a law which becomes effective in 2012 requiring firms to automatically enroll employees in pension plans. Competition offered to the government-sponsored Nest pension plan by pension trusts created by the financial services firms ACT and B&CE is discussed. The law's effect on small business is discussed.
