ABSTRACT
The article offers information on how the computer industry and overall economy of Thailand has been adversely hit by recent floods. According Barclays Capital, the economy is set to contract in the fourth quarter, and total losses could exceed 3% of GDP. It is stated that the biggest impact is being felt in company industry, which sources disk drives, integrated circuits and other parts from Thailand.
