ABSTRACT
The article features artist Zhi Lin, his life, and works of art such as paintings. He graduated at the China National Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou and Slade School of Fine Art in London, England. His styles include Eastern and Western art styles and his paintings portray the culture of the viewer and incite their political perspective. He uses various media which include oil, acrylic and printmaking. He used watercolor in his various works which combine Western realism and Chinese art history as a call for political change.
