ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of chief executive officer (CEO) Chris Albrecht of premium channel Starz LLC to launch a television everywhere-like authenticated platform in the U.S. in 2012. Albrecht has announced that the television channel will expand its original programming output to 50 hours per year by 2014. Also, it notes that Albrecht is looking for online outlets and negotiating with firms such as Google Inc. and Amazon.com Inc.
