ABSTRACT
The article reports that according to the monthly sales report of the Association of American Publishers, the net sales of college publishers has declined as enrollment growth slows and students find alternatives to buying new textbooks in the U.S. Steven Smith, president of John Wiley & Sons, states that the blurring growth of the rental market also affects sales in fiscal 2012. It mentions that enrollment issues are expected to continue for a year before improving.
