ABSTRACT
Clinical study of dabigatran is conducted to check its impact on bleeding in older and younger patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Randomized controlled trial was conducted on patients and exclusion criterion involved severe heart-valve disorder, stroke within 14 days or severe stroke within six months. It is found that dabigatran led to less major bleeding than did warfarin in younger.
