ABSTRACT
The article presents a round-up of events related to healthcare finance in the U.S. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), healthcare has been significant on the overall economy of the country. It adds that hospital quality of care has been improving in terms of care processes related to accountability. Moreover, the increasing membership of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), reaching more than 37,000, is also emphasized.
