ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's view on the Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) project which involves India's partnership with Russia through its PAK-FA Sukhoi T-50 prototype fifth generation stealth jet fighter. He notes that such generation of aerospace technologies involving enhancements in stealth, composites and avionics are in demand wherein high costs and innovations place premium on buyers. He also notes that the success of the jet fighter will provide advantage for the project.
