ABSTRACT
The article discusses how prosthodontist Hersh Saunders of Pueblo, Colorado has transformed to ritual slaughterer. It informs that how he has spent 27 years working as prosthodontist and now he has a barn on his 400-acre ranch south of Pueblo. It reports on his two years training to be a shochet and how he studied with renowned animal scientist Temple Grandin to learn techniques for humane slaughter including how he started his own business and what he does before killing animals.
