ABSTRACT
The article forecasts the economic conditions in Thailand with real gross domestic product (GDP) growth from 3.6% to 1.5% in 2011 in line with the economic damages generated by floods. It predicts a rebound in economic activity in flood control operations behind reconstruction efforts and demand to remain depressed due to the drop of global economic growth.
