ABSTRACT
The article offers the insights of various U.S. veterans who participated in the Paralympics events. It states that during the 2008 Summer Paralympics, held in Beijing, China, around 4,000 athletes coming from 148 countries have gathered in about 500 events that cover 20 sports.
