ABSTRACT
The article offers information related to the boating in people with disabilities. It says that public boating facilities, fishing areas, and docks are made more accessible for disabled people after the effectivity of the U.S. Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and THE accesibility guidelines by the U.S. Access Board. It discusses the initiative of Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) to sponsor the development of a portable boat transfer technology being proposed by BlueSky Designs.
