30 Days Later, Results From Transfer Day Are Mixed

The article discusses how credit unions (CUs) have benefited 30 days after the biggest-ever increase in membership and awareness on Bank Transfer Day that was held on November 5, 2011 in the U.S. It is stated that some CUs reported big membership gains, whereas others said that increases have been moderate. The 3.8-billion dollar Pennsylvania State Employees CU, has reported a strong 34 percent increase in new member accounts over the previous year.
