ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Enterobacteriaceae, which has Beta Lactamases which gives them ability to circumvent antibiotics like penicillins, cephalosporins and carbapenems. As stated, these infections can spread within hospitals and even across borders, and treatment limitation makes it a major health concern, an example of Klebsiella pneumoniae is given. In the article, tables containing data for resistant antibiotics are given and brief about recent preventive measures is explained.
