The article reports on the testing of an SP pump at the Grundfos SP factory in Aalestrup, Denmark. The pump is first fixed to a ramp, then turned upside down and dropped to a basement area, where it is lowered into water that goes to a depth of more than 8m. Bjarne Nielsen, production technician at the plant, the strict testing process is the market demand. The plant can test SP pumps with an output of up to 250kW and a voltage of 1,000V.
