ABSTRACT
The article reports that planning permissions for the Tees Valley Renewable Energy Facility have been taken by Air Products & Chemicals Inc. from Tees Borough Council in England. The project includes gasification energy-from-waste (EfW) scheme, at the New Energy and Technology Business Park, which will convert pre-processed household and commercial waste into baseload, renewable power. The Teesside project is Air Products' first advanced gasification energy scheme to be developed in Britain.
