ABSTRACT
The article offers helpful ways for transforming managers into coaches. These include building a personal case for coaching, establishing firm and clear expectations and teaching skills on coaching as well as putting them into practice. It also notes giving a manager a coach for a first-hand experience, to serve as a model for coaching others as well as experiencing its benefits and giving the best jobs as reward to the best coaches.
