ABSTRACT
The article discusses the strategies of bankers to increase their revenue. Bank consulting firm Vitex Inc. chief executive officer (CEO) Randy Roth suggests a revenue-enhancement process that slowly adjusting the price for every product and service the bank offers. Economic research company Moebs Services founder Mike Moebs stresses that lowering the charge for overdrafts will help bankers increase their revenue and become competitive. Fidelity Bank CEO Michael Ross suggests charging customers for loan extensions. Other tips include using high-technology tools to alert banks on when a customer becomes a source of revenue and expanding products and services that have not yet been offered.
