ABSTRACT
In this article, Li Dongsheng, the chairman of China's largest television (TV) maker, TCL Corp., explains his Chinese brand's strategy to capture the world market share in TVs and handsets. TCL originated three decades ago as a joint venture between a group from Huizhou in Guangdong Province and Hong Kong investors. In 2004, Dongsheng led a move to turn TCL into a forerunner of Chinese globalization.
