ABSTRACT
The article offers information on a business management strategy called Six Sigma, which was developed by Motorola Inc. in 1986 for protecting its electronics manufacturing business from foreign competition. This method involves improving the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes responsible for loss in business. The principles that are followed under this methodology include, defining the problem, measuring current process, and analyzing process inputs.
