ABSTRACT
War crimes trial records are a little-used but fertile source of medicalhistorical information. They are, however, especially useful when investigating conditions affecting incarcerated Allied servicemen in the Far East because almost all cases are supported by a substantial volume of testimony and depositions by medical personnel. Many national archives contain such material and their holdings are discussed briefly.
