ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the new joint venture ING PUBLIC Takaful Ehsan Berhad (ING PUBLIC Takaful Ehsan) by the ING Management Holdings (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (ING) with its strategic alliance partners, Public Bank Berhad (PBB) and Public Islamic Bank Berhad (PIBB). ING has 60 percent and PBB and PIBB both have 20-20 percent equity participation in ING PUBLIC Takaful Ehsan. It plans to increase its market share to 10 percent by 2015.
