News - Indonesia: 48% growth in number of life policyholders -- AAJI

The article reports that according to the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI), policyholders have increased in the country in 2010. It states that number of people having insurance policies rose to 16.75 million as compared to 11.32 million in 2009. Premium revenue of the industry increased from 7.2 billion dollars in 2009 to 8.77 billion dollars in 2010. Evelina Pietruschka, chairwoman of AAJI highlights that the association is planning to achieve its target by marketing activities.
