Women in Insurance - Breaking the glass ceiling

The article analyzes the rising number of women professionals in several new fields within the insurance sector of South Korea. It is reported that, although traditionally women have belonged to the sales field in the sector, the trend is now changing which is evident from the chief executive officer (CEO) of Prudential Life Insurance Co. of Korea Sohn Byoung-ok, who is the first woman CEO in the local insurance market.
