News - The Philippines: Insurance authorities seeking data for catastrophe cover

The article reports that the Philippines Insurance Commission is seeking data for catastrophe cover. The data will form the basis for the adoption of indexed insurance products that will offer protection against catastrophes. Deputy Insurance Commissioner Vida Chiong, said that this will help widen the popularity of insurance.
