News - Asia: Microinsurance could bring in US$40 bln for insurers

The article reports that according to Swiss Reinsurance Co. Ltd.'s latest sigma study, microinsurance could bring in 40 billion dollars for insurers. The study, titled "Microinsurance--Risk protection for 4 billion people," says that the Asia Pacific region is the fastest growing and the largest segment of the market.
