ABSTRACT
The article discusses how insurers in India can use information technology (IT) to adapt to changes in the insurance sector quickly and effectively. IT is considered a critical facilitator of the customer and insurer relationship. The implementation of multiple IT systems has helped in better reach of the insurer to the customer while enhanced customer service has substantially increased the operational cost.
