ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the fiber laser cutting machines of Salvagnini America Inc. which is suited for the sheet metal fabrication market. It states that the first laser cutter of Salvagnini was introduced on the first part of 2008 which was designed and assembled using IPG Photonic fiber laser source. It mentions the Salvagnini L3 and L5 laser cutter which are capable of cutting stainless up to 0.394 inch thick, steel up to 0.70 inch, and brass to 0.197 inch.
