ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the production side of the Gathering of the Vibes music festival where teenagers learn about live sound and got their hands on mixing experience in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The idea was spearheaded by production manager Chris Hubbard to introduce teenagers to concert production from the mixing of sound to manning lighting desks. Moreover, sound provider of the festival DBS Audio provided system design consultant Brian Bolly to teach kids the basics of live sound.
