ABSTRACT
The article presents a study conducted by Ilias Katsikis in Greece which examines luteinizing hormone (LH) levels and LH-to-follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) ratios in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) phenotypes. The study also explores whether body mass index (BMI) and insulin resistance influence LH levels. It discovers higher LH concentrations in normal and overweight women with PCOS than in women with comparable BMI and newer phenotypes.
