The article discusses a bust of Osage Indian Albert Penn at the U.S. National Museum of Natural History, focusing on the experiences of his granddaughter, Evelyn Taylor, in viewing the bust. It notes that the bust was one of several commissioned by Ales Hrdlicka, a curator for physical anthropology at the Smithsonian Institute.
