ABSTRACT
The article profiles Tom Russell, a musician with the latest record called "Mesabi." According to Russell, he started writing his record two years ago fascinating with the lives of some child actors who ended sort tragically. It adds that being a songwriter is his primary job and devotes most of the early hours to music. He mentions that collaboration is very important both musically and sonically and describes his experience on recording at WaveLab in Tucson, Arizona.
