ABSTRACT
The article presents study which focused on the efficiency of selected laundry disks in removing stains and soil from cotton and polyester. The researchers examined various types of fabrics including bleached cotton sheeting, a cotton soiled test cloth printed on style and the Dacron 54 polyester fabric. They divided the polyester and cotton soiled test cloth into 54 specimens with each measuring 7 x 20 centimeters with the long dimension perpendicular with the soil stripe direction. They coated the edges of the samples with white cotton/polyester thread to ensure that these will not be raveled when laundered.
