ABSTRACT
The article announces that ASIS International receives the Safety Act certification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for its organizational resilience standard, and the acquisition of Tyco International Ltd. to global developer Visonic Ltd. According to Tyco president Mark VanDover, the focus of the company is all about growth and leveraging technology. It notes that one of the advantages in the acquisition is knowing how well the two companies complement each other.
