ABSTRACT
The article reports on the skepticism of natural-person credit unions (CUs) about their corporate CU counterparts boiling down to the options and alternatives available to small to middle-size CUs in the U.S. It states that corporate CUs battle over small CUs and struggle over major price increases in their lending products. It cites Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union (FCU) which serves over 1,100 CUs and its capital ratio positions at 5.51% raising about 92 million dollars from member CUs.
