ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights regarding her role as new president of the Kentucky Library Association (KLA). The author relates her role at the Joint Conference of KLA and the Kentucky School Media Association (KSMA) in 2010 which was attended by several speakers such as Benjamin Sapp of Mazza Museum. She hopes that she could accomplish her goals as the association's president and become an advocate for all its librarian members.
