ABSTRACT
The article discusses key human resource (HR) practices that can help small companies, like optical laboratories, improve their profit and sales. These HR practices include taking into consideration organizational fit and culture when hiring qualified applicants and creating a family-like environment that offers employees more personal attention and well-rounded involvement.
