ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the life insurance and challenges faced by it. It is different from property insurance as the risk of capital market predominates in it. It aims to cover the early dying risk or the risk of living too long in annuities. It protects the beneficiary and the insured from the financial constraints. The asset-liability management includes liquidity risk, market and foreign currency risk and managing interest rate risk.
