ABSTRACT
The article presents a literature review which determines the reliability and validity of mixed-dentition analysis (MDA) methods in predicting permanent tooth size in the mixed dentition. It says that the author selected and analyzed 39 articles in eight online databases for studies of MDA, along with the examination of mesiodistal tooth width predictions of premolars and canines. Results show that all MDA methods had correlated high intrarater reliability and validity.
