ABSTRACT
The article announces the partnership of Comcast Corp. and Verizon Communications Inc. with Microsoft Corp. in the U.S. to let television (TV) customers use the Xbox 360 game console as a set-top box. The initiative requires customers to take TV and broadband services as well as subscribe to Microsoft's Xbox Live Gold service. Part of Verizon's service is to offer a limited content selection of 26 live channels. The partnership enables customers to discover and control of on-demand programs.
