ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the research note by Morgan Stanley analyst Ben Swinburne which indicates the possibility that Liberty Media Corp. will monetize its 40 percent stake in Sirius XM Radio Inc. It is noted that Liberty Media originally invested 553 million dollars with the satellite radio in 2009 in which it grew 8 times to 4.3 billion dollars over a span of two years. The note also outlined that Liberty would likely monetize the stake through a Reverse Morris Trust.
