ABSTRACT
The article reports on the performance of the U.S. durable and nondurable manufacturing sector in October 2010. There has been a 14.3 percent increase in new orders for durable manufacturing industries through November despite some sluggishness over the past few months. Durable goods manufacturing output is expected to slow down to 6.2 percent in 2011. Several charts and graphs that show revenue and price, input costs and operating profit are also presented.
