ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the adventures of several readers in indexing. It states that one can do indexing to a series of architectural guides and exhibition catalogues. It mentions that author Jacqui Brownstein was able to index the book "Aces Wild" which documents the story of George Welch, the first man to break the sound barrier in a manned flight. Another has also read books on indexes of various subjects to give one additional knowledge, such as knowing the indexes in a cookbook. Furthermore, indexing has provided one with an outlet for what one thinks of as the other half of one's interests in life, and has become a way to participate in advance research.
