ABSTRACT
The article presents a research which examines the feasibility, acceptability and effectiveness of problem solving therapy (PST) in treating people with common mental disorders (CMDs) in deprived communities in South Africa. It is reported that, the researchers used self-report questionnaires to conduct the research. According to the research, the PST based on booklet/workshop format is an effective, feasible, and acceptable short-term treatment for people with CMD's in the communities.
